Spun is a 2002 indie movie directed by Jonas Åkerlund and written by Creighton Vero and Will de los Santos.
The movie is essentially about the lives that surround the life of a methamphetamine cook. Furthermore, it deals with crystal methamphetamine addiction and the multitude of consequences that can spring from its abuse. The film’s title is a reference to the slang term for the way users feel when being high on the drug. This is Åkerlund's début as a film director after being better known for his work on music videos. The film includes appearances from Rob Halford of Judas Priest fame, Billy Corgan, China Chow, Tony Kaye, and Deborah Harry.
