Sunil Kumar Desai is one of the successful Kannada film directors. In most of his movies, Desai has a perfect blend of Art and Commercial cinema. He has written and directed some of the best suspense/thrillers and love stories in kannada. He has won the karnataka state awards(4 times) in the Best Screenplay & Best Dialogs categories. He has also won the Filmfare awards 4 times. Has worked with some of the best musicians in South India like Maestro Ilayaraaja, SangeethaBrahma Mr.Hamsalekha & Mr.Gunasingh. Has a passion for music which is reflected in the quality of the songs and the background scoring in his movies.
