Takin' It to the Streets is the sixth studio album by American rock band The Doobie Brothers, released in 1976. (see 1976 in music). It was the first to feature Michael McDonald on lead vocals. Taylor Hicks performed the title track of this album on the fifth season of American Idol, and it will be featured as the B-side of his debut single, "Do I Make You Proud".
