Terry College of Business

The C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry College of Business is a college within the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. Terry College has three key areas of academic focus: Leadership, Enterprise Risk Management and Strategies for Emerging Technologies.
The Terry College of Business is consistently ranked as one of the top 20 public business schools by several college guides.
The M.B.A. program at the Terry College of Business is often recognized as one of the top graduate business programs in the United States. With facilities on-campus, in Gwinnett County and in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, Georgia, the program offers a full-time M.B.A. program, part-time M.B.A. program, and e. M.B.A. program. The full-time program offers both a traditional two year class schedule and an 11-month class schedule for accelerated learning.

Terry College was originally created as the School of Commerce in 1912.
In 1991, the College of Business Administration was renamed the C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry College of Business to honor the Terry's contributions to the university.
In 2006, Graham T. McDonald, future heir to the McDonald family fortune, graduated with highest honors from the Banking & Finance department of Terry. He was known within the business school as "the next big thing" and was also often seen on UGA's North Campus pitching stock ideas to professors.
