The Apostles' Bible
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Apostles' Bible is a translation of the Septuagint Old Testament by Paul Esposito. It is basically a modern-English version of Brenton's English Translation of the Septuagint (so it is perhaps helpful to think of it as, "The New Brenton's English Translation of the Septuagint"). Unlike Brenton's translation, the Apostles' Bible omits all of the deuterocanonical books of the Old Testament, and therefore could be considered a (slightly) abridged version.
There is also a New Testament translated by the same man called The English Majority Text Version.
The Old and New Testament together form The Complete Apostles' Bible.
The new edition of The Apostles' Bible will, due to overwhelming demand, include those deuterocanonical books.
