The Crucified
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Crucified was a Southern California band of the late 1980's and early 1990's. Their musical style derived from such punk and hardcore influences as Minor Threat and various metal bands. Lyrics reflected the band's Christian worldview, giving them a seminal role in the nascent Christian punk subgenre. The Crucified were some of the earliest pioneers of Christian hardcore, adding both punk and metal influences.
