From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Fright at Tristor is a snall adventure for Dungeons & Dragons. It is designed to be used as a "generic" D&D adventure, which can be dropped into any campaign world, including a personal one, it is also the introduction to the Living Greyhawk sharedworld campaign. Instructions are given in the first pages of the module on where to place it in the worlds of Greyhawk, the Forgotten Realms and Eberron, the three primary campaign settings of D&D.
[edit] Plot
The plot of The Fright at Tristor begins with a mention of the brutal murders occuring in the hamlet of Tristor. The townsfolk fear that they may be the next target of these attacks. The party has been hired to investigate, a reward being offered if they can stop these murders occuring. Townsfolk believe the source to be a band of orcs following the Watcher. However other people are not so sure, especially that animal prints, namely those of a bear, have been discovered. Soon their greatest fears are realised, as outlying farms are attacked, it is up to the adventurers to halt these killings and save the town.
