The Party Party, which began in 2003, is a Canadian progressive political party that is not registered with Elections Canada (and therefore citizens cannot vote for the party in federal elections). Its philosophy, while occasionally espousing lofty and poetic ideals and purposes such as the "very fertile soil of Man's ever adapting struggle to find place, and voice, within the sea of human will", seems more focused on satire, humour, and the festive definition of the term party. Apparently centered in Saskatchewan, the Party Party's website disclaimer footnote reads, "thepartyparty.ca is a satirical site and should be regarded as such."
