Also certified 3x Platinum in Europe, Japan and Brazil, 2x Platinum in Canada, Spain, Thailand and Mexico, Platinum in US, Australia, Singapore, and Italy.
"These Days" was regarded as a much maligned album full of subtle lyrics and deeper references with respect to life today, which are close to the "small town" images that Bruce Springsteen portrays in his work. It was an overall darker album and only had one hit single in the US, "This Ain't A Love Song," which charted at #14. However, the album did very well in Europe due to the success of the tour supporting the album.
