Hi, sorry I took so long to reply, I got caught up with doing some fairly major cleanup work on some articles and forgot to re-read my Talk page.

As far as how life in England was affected by the restrictions on taking luggage onto planes, it was certainly a major item on the news for several weeks - many of the restrictions are still in place. I think Southampton Airport was probably closed on the day the news broke, but then operated as usual after the initial scare. As far as how it affected life for me, since I haven't travelled by plane since news of the plot broke, it hasn't. Hope that's informative for you! And thanks for the WikiSmile! Hey, thanks for the msg. Any page can be protected. Normally user pages are not protected. Mine was because as someone who deals with a lot of vandalism my user page has been regularly targeted for attacks by vandals. I was also the subject of a number of wikistalkers who used to target my user and talk pages. The latter has sometimes been protected but the former has been left protected simply because it got tiring having other users constantly having to revert vandalism to my main page.

When vandals target user's own pages
They do it in multiple phases
Because they ransack the text
it often is best
to place protection at certain key places.

Fair use images are copyrighted images that, unfortunately, can't be used on the user namespace. If you did know that, then the images I'm talking about are the Series of Unfortunate Events symbol, the cover to The End, and the cover to one of the Harry Potter books.

Meh, I'll give you two reasons why it's crazy for me. First and foremost, it respresents the end of a school marking period in my school, and teachers are assigning us projects and tests on the day they are supposed to log in their grades. Second, I was going to work on a project with my partner at the library, but neither of us knew that it was being closed for electorial purposes. So now, I have to do it myself and hope that he doesn't do one by himself as well (or there will be a big mess) Also, I changed my sig =P and right now, I'm working on typing up the properties of associativity, commutativity, distributitivy (think I spelled it wrong =P), identity, and inverse. Right now, I'm working on the multiplicative inverse property, which explains that a*1/a=1 if a is not equal to 0.--҈Đǣţĥ ɱøťőŕ ☎ 23:13, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
