Thiruchendur is a panchayat town in Toothukudi district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is 45 km away from Tuticorin and 53 km from Tirunelveli. It is well-connected with Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari and Tuticorin by road. There is a small stretch of meter-gauge (now broad gauge) rail link between Tiruchendur and Tirunelveli.

One of the famous Murugan temples is nearby the beautiful seashore. This temple is the second of the Arupadai Vedu of Lord Muruga.
