Thomas "Thomen" Stauch

Thomen Stauch was the drummer for German Power Metal act Blind Guardian until April 2005. He was in the band since its beginnings in 1985 and stayed for a twenty year period.

- His last studio album with Blind Guardian was 2002's, A Night at the Opera (not to confused with Queen's album, also titled A Night at the Opera), but his last full release with the band was 2004's Imaginations Through the Looking Glass.
- He is the drummer of the band Savage Circus, who released their debut album Dreamland Manor in 2005; he also plays drums in Coldseed with Soilwork frontman Björn "Speed" Strid.
- He is married and currently lives in Madrid (Spain).
- According to news on the official Savage Circus website, Thomen was afflicted with an illness whose nature has not yet been revealed to the public, other than that it is serious. [1]]
