[edit] Major Moments
[edit] Debuts and Returns
TNA Victory Road 2004 marked the returns of several big names to TNA Wrestling, including Scott Hall, Hector Garza, Nosawa, Miyamoto, Matt Sydal, Jason Cross, Psichosis, and LA Park. (aka La Parka). It also marked the debut of several major names within the company, including Kevin Nash, Randy Savage, Puma, and Jimmy Snuka.
[edit] In the Pit with Piper
The story behind the Piper's Pit knock off segment dates back to one of the most infamous segments ever involved with Roddy Piper in which he (playing a heel in the 80's) rendered face Jimmy Snuka unconscious with a blow with a coconut to the back of a head. The segment was meant to be for retribution, but ended up starting a storyline involving the coconut that lasted through the following month.
[edit] Milestone Matches
- America's Most Wanted and Triple X's Last Team Standing Match was marred by injuries and concussions.
- The Monster's Ball Match competed in by Raven, Monty Brown, and Abyss has become a staple hardcore gimmick within TNA Wrestling. Monster's Ball was brought back at Bound For Glory in a 4-way match featuring Jeff Hardy, Rhino, Sabu, and Abyss that some state stole the show at the event.
