[edit] Character History
Cosmo Krank was once the famous CEO of toy company Krank Co. He was successful in creating incredible, futuristic toys and gained lots of money. However Bruce Wayne noticed that Krank's toys were very dangerous, made a campaign to ban his toys, and close Krank Co. for good. Angry at this, Krank became a masked supervillain, and used his deadly toys to get revenge against Wayne.
His first evil deed was when he sent one of his deadly toy robots to attack Bruce Wayne, but was stopped by Batman. Then, he sent one of his zoo toys to attack Wayne and his protector, Detective Cash Tankinson. Later, Cosmo set up a trap at Krank Co. HQ, with an army of robots Batman had to battle.
Not knowing that Bruce Wayne and Batman were the same, Krank fell for his trap when Wayne let himself be kidnapped by him, and be chased by Tankinson to his lair, Kranky town. Batman and Tankinson worked together to defeat his army of evil toys, and put Krank in jail by using his remote in order to make the Zoo-Pets attack him.
He should not be confused with Toyman, a Superman villain. Cosmo Krank will appear in a future issue of The Batman Strikes! comic book.1
[edit] Powers and Abilities
While Cosmo Krank/Toymaker does not have any powers of his own, he has a remote control that allows him to control many of his deadly toys. Some of them include the Cosmo Flyer, which is a hovering disc that allows him to fly , the Krank-Bots, which are small robots that launch powerful explosive rockets and bombs, a giant spinning top with two mechanical arms similar to Dr. Octopus, and the Zoo-Pets, which are Pokemon-like plush toys that can grow iron claws and spiky tails to attack Batman.
