This article is about the former village in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. For the town in Kochi Prefecture with this name, see Toyo, Kochi, and for the former city in Ehime Prefecture see Toyo, Ehime.
Tōyō (東陽村; -mura) was a village located in Yatsushiro District, Kumamoto, Japan. On August 1, 2005, the village merged with four other municipalities into the expanded city of Yatsushiro and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 2,787 and a population density of 43.17 persons per km². The total area was 64.56 km².
