TransPennine North West

TransPennine North West is one of the three rail services provided by First TransPennine Express, running in Northern England. It runs from Manchester International Airport to Windermere, Kendal and Barrow-in-Furness, via Lancaster, Preston, Bolton and Manchester Piccadilly. It uses sections of the Manchester Airport Line, Manchester to Preston Line, West Coast Main Line, Furness Line and Windermere Branch Line. This route was formerly operated by First North Western.
