Udono Jousuke

Udono Jōsuke (japanese: 鵜殿 丈助, hiragana: うどの じょうすけ, rōmaji: Udono Jousuke) a character featured in the japanese anime Basilisk Kouga Ninpou Chou (known in english as the Kouga Ninja Scrolls). The cheerful, trusting Jousuke was chosen as to be one of ten warriors of the Kouga clan of Manjidani in their war against the Iga clan of the Hidden Hilt. Jousuke contains an enormous rubber-like body which allows him to absorb great amounts of physical damage with little injury. This includes direct blows from swords, rendering him nearly invulnerable to most physical attacks. He's also capable of curling himself into a ball and rolling at high speeds. It is also known that Jousuke is somewhat of a leecher as well, as proved with his confrontation with Akeginu.
[edit] Battles
Jousuke VS Rousai: This was the second conflict throughout the Basilisk series. This was one of very few high budget fights within Basilisk, in which Jousuke greatly shows off his moves against the rubber bodied Rousai. This ended up being a rather well fought battle considering the fact that Rousai and Jousuke had very similar techniques. After a long hard-fought bout between Jousuke and Rousai, Jousuke ends up retreating with the scroll.
Jousuke VS Akeginu: After Jousuke wanted to have sexual relations with Akeginu (which is quite understandable), Akeginu lured Jousuke outside of the house that he was waiting for her in. Akeginu then unleashed her technique which greatly lessened the vision of Jousuke, in which she then thrusted her sword into his face. After Akeginu realized that her attacks would have no effect on him, she retreated.
Jousuke VS Jingoro: A rather minor conflict that took place right after Jousuke was washing his face at a spring after his battle with Akeginu. Jingoro, who was currently being held by Jousuke (due to the fact that he was in a water-like state), was demanded by Jousuke to hear the truth behind the relation between the Kouga and Iga (due to the fact that he had already fought against two Iga shinobi in the past). Jingoro responded that they were at war only by scurrering into Jousuke's mouth, and messing up his body. This unknown technique that Jingoro used on Jousuke sent him flying into the air, and then smashing back down within the spring, as dead.
