Valréas is a town and commune of the Vaucluse département, in France.

The area around the town of Valréas is an exclave of the Vaucluse département in the Drôme département. Valréas used to be part of the possessions of the Pope in France near Avignon and were all attached to Vaucluse when annexed after the départements were created (see Comtat Venaissin).
