VF-8 Logan

The VF-8 Logan Veritech Fighter is a fictional transformable starfighter from the anime series Robotech, based upon the TASC-SCF-02 Logan of Super Dimension Cavalry Southern Cross.
According to the official Robotech canon, the Army of the Southern Cross (ASC) opted for the Logan, which would prove to be a disastrous decision when the arrival of the Robotech Masters ignited the Second Robotech War. The Logan were outclassed in firepower by the Masters' Bioroids. Shortly after the start of the war, the Logans were replaced with the far more effective VFH-10 Veritech AGAC Fighter/Helicopter.
