"What Goes Around..." a.k.a "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around Interlude" is rumored to be the third or fourth single from Justin Timberlake's solo sophomore album FutureSex/LoveSounds. The song has been described by many as a 2006 version of Cry Me a River, partly because it is also thought to reference the singer's ex-girlfriend, Britney Spears, and her alleged infidelities during their relationship. Timberlake himself has claimed that "What Goes Around..." is not autobiographical in any way, but he got the inspiration to write this song from his best friend Trace Ayala, who dated actress Elisha Cuthbert.
