Wild Love is Smog's fourth album, released in 1995 on Drag City and later re-released on Domino. Jim O'Rourke contributed as cellist on this album. Drag City's producer Rian Murphy helped develop a wider musical palette than on its predecessor Julius Caesar. Chan Marshall would later cover Bathysphere on her 1996 album What Would the Community Think.
Jason Dezember and Ron Burns played drums on this record. Besides singing, Cindy Dall provided "guitar and invaluable guidance". Ian O'Hey played chamberlin, Jim O'Rourke played cello, which actually was the first collaboration between Callahan and O'Rourke. Konrad Strauss engineered this album.
