WKSH (1640 AM) is the Radio Disney affiliate for the Milwaukee area, and is licensed to Sussex, Wisconsin. WKSH is Wisconsin's only station owned by ABC and parent The Walt Disney Company
Originally a daytime-only station at 1370 AM, WKSH moved to 1640AM in the late 90s. From the 1980s until December 2002, WKSH was programmed by Life Message, Inc and ran religious programming. ABC brought Radio Disney to Milwaukee in December 2002 after stunting with various disney songs and the sound of birds chirping.
