Wrestle War

Wrestle War was a professional wrestling pay-per-view promoted by World Championship Wrestling. It was held in the month of May in 1989 and 1992 and the month of February in 1990 and 1991. The first two Wrestle War's were under the NWA banner.

- The Dynamic Dudes (Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace) defeated The Samoan Swat Team (Samu and Fatu) (w/Paul E. Dangerously) (11:02)

- Michael Hayes defeated Lex Luger to win the NWA United States Championship (16:06)
- Hayes pinned Luger.
- Sting defeated The Iron Sheik (w/Rip Morgan) to retain the NWA World Television Championship (2:12)
- Sting pinned Sheik.
- Ric Flair defeated Ricky Steamboat to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship (31:37)
- Flair pinned Steamboat.
- The special judges in case the match went to the full 1 hour time-limit were: Terry Funk, Pat O'Connor, Lou Thesz.
- The Road Warriors (Hawk and Animal) (w/Paul Ellering) defeated NWA World Tag Team Champions The Varsity Club (Mike Rotunda and Steve Williams) (w/Kevin Sullivan) (w/Nikita Koloff as Special Guest Referee) by disqualification (6:06)
- The Varisty Club was disqualified when Dan Spivey and Sullivan pulled Koloff out of the ring, The Varisty CLub retained the title.
- Eddie Gilbert and Rick Steiner (w/Missy Hyatt) defeated The Varsity Club (Kevin Sullivan and Dan Spivey) to retain the NWA United States Tag Team Championship (6:41)
- Gilbert pinned Sullivan.
- The Oak Ridge Boys performed at the show.

- Luger was counted-out when he left the ring to rescue an injured Sting from being attacked by Ole Anderson.

- The Junkyard Dog, Ricky Morton and Tommy Rich defeated The State Patrol (Lt. James Earl Wright and Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker) and Big Cat to retain the WCW World Six-Man Tag Team Championship (9:54)
- Morton pinned Parker.

- The Four Horsemen (Ric Flair, Barry Windham, Sid Vicious) and Larry Zbyszko (w/Arn Anderson) defeated Sting, Brian Pillman, and The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott) in a WarGames match (21:50)
- The Four Horsemen won when Pillman was knocked unconscious from a powerbomb by Vicious.
- Zbyszko was a replacement for the injured Anderson.
