"Yahweh" is the eleventh and final track from U2's eleventh studio album, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb. It became a live staple on the Vertigo Tour, and was usually played acoustically during one of the encores. The title "Yahweh" is a reference to a Hebrew name for God. The song features relatively upbeat, heartwarming lyrics and a pleasant rhythm. During the How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb sessions, an alternative version of "Yahweh" was recorded, featuring additional choruses and a much more drum-orientated beat. This version is available on the iTunes' exclusive box set, "The Complete U2."
