Ezekiel Aaron Moreno (Born October 8, 1978 in Chula Vista, CA) was an NFL linebacker. His brother, Moses Moreno, also played in the National Football League as a quarterback.
[edit] Professional Career
He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers with the 8th pick in the 5th round (139th pick total), in 2001. He played for the San Diego Chargers for 5 years (2001-2004).
[edit] College Career
Moreno was the heart of the University of Southern California's defense from 1998-2000. Despite lack of NFL speed or size, he used Junior Seau-like instincts to be at the ball at the right time throughout his career at USC. Known as "Zeke And Destroy" by many intoxicated USC-faithful, Moreno was a force in the middle of the USC defense in some of USC's leaner years.
[edit] High School Career
He attended Castle Park High School in Chula Vista, in south San Diego County.
