Pełzaki (serial animowany)

Pełzaki (ang. Rugrats, 1991-2004) – amerykański serial animowany wytwórni Klasky Csupo wyprodukowany dla kanału telewizyjnego Nickelodeon, stworzony przez małżeństwo Arlene Klasky i Gabora Csupo. Wystartował w 1991 roku. W 1998 powstał pierwszy film pełnometrażowy (The Rugrats Movie), a później kolejne: Pełzaki w Paryżu (2000), Rugrats Go Wild! (2003).
W polskiej telewizji serial był emitowany pod tytułem Pełzaki. Można go było oglądać w TVP3 oraz ZigZapie.
Dubbing do polskiej wersji powstał w Studiu Nagraniowym MIDAT w Szczecinie.
Bohaterami są małe dzieci – Tommy Pickles i jego starsza kuzynka Angelica, Chuckie Finster, bliźnięta Phil i Lil DeVille, a także rodzice wszystkich wcześniej wymienionych. Istotną rolę w serialu odgrywa pies Spayk, lalka Angeliki - Cynthia oraz dinozaur Reptar.

Reptar nie jest bezpośrednim bohaterem, lecz odgrywa szczególną rolę jako idol Tommy’ego Picklesa i innych dzieci. Jest obecny w telewizji, reklamach, graffiti na murach, jako zabawka, jako postać z rewii na lodzie, pojawia się w snach etc. Najczęściej jest zielony, choć w niektórych odcinkach (The Unfair Pair) pojawiał się również w innym kolorze.
