Neil Leslie Diamond (Brooklyn, Nova Iorque, 24 de janeiro, 1941) é um cantor e compositor dos Estados Unidos da América; teve grande número de hits nos anos 60, 70 e 80 e mantem uma grande multidão de fãs fazendo apresentações ao vivo até hoje.

Nascido numa família judaica, estudou com Barbra Streisand na escola secundarista Abraham Lincoln (e cantando com ela no coro de escola). Aprendeu a tocar guitarra após receber um presente no seu aniversário de dezesseis anos.

Iniciou sua carreira como escritor para Brill Building, e teve sucesso recente com canções como "I'm a Believer" e "A Little Bit Me, a Little Bit You" no The Monkees.

O Neil casou-se com sua professora Jaye Posner e tiveram duas filhas, Marjorie e Elyn. Eles eventualmente divorciaram.
