Bengali is a language from South Asia. It is spoken in both Bangladesh and in India. Almost all of the people in Bangladesh speak Bengali, but in India it is only spoken in the state of West Bengal.
It is one of the language that is spoken by a lot of people. It has almost twuw-hundred million people who speak it.
Many famous books and poems are written in Bengali. Rabindranath Tagore was a famous poet who one the Nobel Prize in Literature, which means he was the best writer in the whole world that year.
