Simple Plan is a Pop Punk rock Band from Montréal, Canada that was founded in 1999.

When he was 15, Pierre Bouvier met Chuck Comeau in Montréal. They founded the band Reset. They published their first album in 1997. Soon after that, Comeau left the band because school was more important to him. He came back in 1999 and founded Simple Plan with Sebastien Lefebvre and Jeff Stinco. Bouvier and David Desrosiers joined the band. 2002, they published the album No Pads, No Helmets,... Just Balls. They worked together with Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) und Mark Hoppus (Blink182). One year later, the album Still Not Getting Any... was published.
