Cranbrook Airport (IATA: YXC, ICAO: CYXC) is a small regional airport located 5.0 nautical miles (9.26 km) north of Cranbrook, British Columbia and 20 km (10.8 nautical miles) south-east of Kimberley. It is owned and operated by the City of Cranbrook and YVRAS (Vancouver Airport Services). Runway 16/34 is a 6,000-foot long, 150-foot wide paved runway, and is currently the only runway at the airport. In 2004, YXC served around 81,000 passengers and had about 13,000 aircraft movements.
