Ghiffa is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 120 km northeast of Turin and about 7 km northeast of Verbania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,382 and an area of 13.9 km2.[1]
It is most famous for the Sacro Monte, a site of pilgrimage and worship close to it.
Ghiffa borders the following municipalities: Arizzano, Bee, Castelveccana, Laveno-Mombello, Oggebbio, Porto Valtravaglia, Premeno, Verbania.
