Jasper Park Lodge

The renowned Jasper Park Lodge opened in 1921 in Jasper, Alberta to challenge the CPR's Banff Springs Hotel. The lodge was later sold to the Canadian Pacific Railway and now operates as Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.
The Lodge (locally known as "JPL") is situated on the shores of Lac Beauvert. It features an 18 hole golf course, hiking and cross-country ski trails, world-class cuisine, and boasts a 5 star rating.
