Mealhada (pron. IPA: [miɐ'ʎadɐ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 110.7 km² and a total population of 21,282 inhabitants, and 17,043 electors (2006).
The municipality is composed of 8 parishes, and is located in the District of Aveiro.
The present Mayor is Carlos Alberto Costa Cabral, elected by the Socialist Party.
The municipal holiday is Ascension Day.
