Miyabe Keijun
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Miyabe Keijun (宮部継潤?) (1528-1599) was a Tendai monk from Mount Hiei in western Japan.
During the Sengoku period Keijun fought against the Oda clan, under the Azai. He was later forced to surrender when he was caught in one of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's traps. After that event Keijun went on to serve Hideyoshi, helping him to become ruler of the land and to bring an end to the Sengoku period. During his later years, Keijun served as Hideyoshi's personal adviser.
