New York State Route 12A is a very short state highway located entirely in Broome County. It is one of only four signed New York state highways less than a mile in length. Despite its brevity, it carries a lot of traffic as it allow access to I-88 from the hamlet of Chenango Bridge in the town of Chenango.
Its western end is at NY 12 just outside of town. 12A goes due east, then curves southwards at the Kattelville Road junction, crosses the Chenango River and ends at the junction with the multiplexed I-88 and NY 7.
