From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Pat Jennings (born September 24, 1979, Hertfordshire, England) is currently playing football as a goalkeeper with League of Ireland club Derry City F.C.
Jennings is the son of the Northern Ireland's most capped international Pat. He started his career at Tottenham before making his name with UCD, moving north after several seasons at Belfield Park.
Although he has tried to displace first choice keeper David Forde, he found it difficult to play regular first-team football at Derry, but rejected offers to leave the club at the end of the 2005-06 season.
Jennings was the hero for Derry in the 2006 eircom League Cup final against Shelbourne as he came on to fill the place David Forde, who had been sent off in the 84th minute of play, and went on to save all of the opposing sides penalties.
