Steve Banks (born September 9, 1972 in Hillingdon) is an English goalkeeper currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Hearts.
Signed in August 2005 on a free transfer from Gillingham [1], Banks provides experienced backup for Hearts' number one goalkeeper Craig Gordon, despite only making two starts and one substitute appearance in the 2005/06 season. In October 2005, Banks played in a crucial 1-1 draw with Celtic at Celtic Park [2] in which he made a number of crucial saves to maintain the Jambos' unbeaten start to the season.
