[edit] Welcome message
Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like it here and stick around. If you want, you can drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.
I noticed that your article at Data Mining is a duplicate of Data mining, so I turned it into a redirect. Most of the time, assume we already have articles on subjects like that - if you don't find it, you might not be looking under the right name.
If you need editing help, visit Wikipedia:How does one edit a page. For format questions, visit our manual of style. You can use the Show preview button before you save, to make sure your edits do what you intended.
You can sign your name on talk pages by using " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp.
Some time when you're bored, you can read through our policies and guidelines.
If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Village pump. You can also drop me a question on my talk page.
Happy editing, Isomorphic 07:15, 1 Apr 2004 (UTC)

[edit] A minor grammar issue
I guess in your signatures list, it should've been One who mixes sports than One who mix sports. Any way, they were good.--Sundar 11:12, Apr 6, 2004 (UTC)
- I'm very poor in English. Thanks for correcting me. Nice to see you in Wikipedia. Wishes. --Rrjanbiah 13:53, 6 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- Rajesh, we need not be defensive about our knowledge of English as it is not our native language. Even, my English is not all that good. Thanks for your wishes. I've read your views on Kural. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll reply there.

Thanks Sundar for your loving advice. I gratefully accept your advice. But now, I have the notion that newsgroups and blogs will be a better choice than Wiki like thing. --Rrjanbiah 04:51, 9 Jun 2004 (UTC)
Thanks for your wishes --Rrjanbiah 08:37, 9 Jun 2004 (UTC)

Hi Sundar - I think this is a page I created by mistake, I moved my talk to Wikipedia talk:Wikidreams, so as far as I'm concerned this page can de deleted... Calexico (Talk) 11:29, 26 Apr 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Hijra (India)
To: User:Chancemill, User:Sundar, User:Harikishoreaj, User:Nichalp, User:KRS, User:Ambarish, User:Arvindn
The Hijra article needs some help/comments. If you know more on the subject, please feel free to comment at Talk:Hijra (India). Thanks. --Rrjanbiah 04:24, 7 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Rajesh, I do not (though I would like to) have a thorough understanding of Hijra. May be I'll study the topic and then edit the page.

[edit] Mitochondrial DNA
Hi, I forgot that most people don't have access to that page :-( The link now points to the PubMed page with abstract, and link to the full article for those who do have access. --Magnus Manske 12:47, Sep 22, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Look-over
I'll check it out- can't promise tonight, but def tommorow, and see what all I can add to it. Might do a bit of reorganizing/factoring into sections and such. Lyellin 05:12, Sep 15, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Thank You
My spelling is very bad, and I often do not pay attention to details. Thanks. :) func(talk) 04:31, 24 Sep 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Iiit-b-logo.jpg
Hi. Image:Iiit-b-logo.jpg didn't seem to upload properly. Would you mind uploading it again? Vacuum | tcw 03:36, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Hi Vaccuum, I uploaded Image:Iiitb-logo.png thereby making Image:Iiit-b-logo.jpg redundant. Feel free to remove this image. Thanks. -- Sundar 06:06, Dec 6, 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team
Hi, Sundar. I was wondering whether you're still interested in this project and whether you have any suggestions or comments. Maurreen 08:01, 2 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Hi Maureen. Of late, I'm not able to devote a lot of time to Wikipedia. However, I continue to make some small edits. I am in principle a supporter of the Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team, but sorry that I won't be able to contribute actively and significantly for the effort. I'll continue to watch that, though. -- Sundar 06:26, Jan 3, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:Tamil alphabet
Ping: Talk:Tamil alphabet
(Uhhh, and BTW, I'd sorry for not doing a followup on Venpa, but User:Dbachmann is a far better reviewer than me anyway)
Pjacobi 09:20, 2005 Jan 21 (UTC)
- I've replied in Talk:Tamil alphabet. I agree with you. Feel free to revert me. No problem with Venpa since User:Dbachmann has already done it. -- Sundar 09:33, Jan 21, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] India-geo-stub
Hi Sundar - I note the picture I designed for the india-geo-stub has been changed. Fair enough but I deliberately avoided using a map for a very good reason - Kashmir. Any indication via a map in a stub message that Kashmir belongs on one or other side of the I-P border loses some of the NPOV status of the article. Of course, it is possible that there are issues of cultural insensitivity with using the Wheel of Destiny as a compass rose, and if so then it makes sense to change it... I'm just not convinced that a map is the best alternative. Grutness|hello? 06:43, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Grutness, your concern makes sense to me. Feel free to revert me. -- Sundar 06:50, Jan 20, 2005 (UTC)
- Several countries have geo-stubs using their national arms... perhaps the Asokan lions would be better for India than the wheel? What do you think? Grutness|hello? 04:06, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Grutness, are you reading my mind? I had the same thought, go ahead with the plan. -- Sundar 04:08, Jan 21, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Seeking you support
I am seeking your support and participation for starting the "Indian Collaboration of the Week". Please enlist your support on the page Wikipedia_talk:Indian_wikipedians'_notice_board if you would like to support. Thanks Arunram 09:37, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Hi Arunram, I've already enlisted myself to that. Thanks. -- Sundar 09:39, Jan 21, 2005 (UTC)
Sundar, thanks for your participation and support. Look forward to editing collboratively with you. Arunram 12:41, 21 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Hi, I seek your support in bootstrapping WP:INCOTW. The infrastructure is in place. We only need a popular support and participation for the COTW. Please spread the word around and let other wikipedians know. Regards Arunram 15:21, 1 Feb 2005 (UTC)
Sure. I'll do that. -- Sundar 15:35, Feb 1, 2005 (UTC)
