T.V. Eye/Final Epitaph Single was the second single released by Gothic rock group Play Dead. This single received much air time on the radio. "Final Epitaph" was recorded in April of 1981. "T.V. Eye" was recorded in August of 1981. The single was released in October of 1981. A while after this single was released, the group claimed that the song "T.V. Eye" does not represent Play Dead or what Play Dead was about. As popular as the song was with the fans, the band just rather it be dismissed. Steve Green (play dead) plays guitar on "T.V. Eye" while Re-Vox played on "Final Epitaph."
