The Simpsons (season 1)

The first season of The Simpsons aired between December 1989 and May 1990. The show runners were Matt Groening, James L. Brooks, and Sam Simon. The season was released on DVD September 25, 2001. It is also the only season not to have a Treehouse of Horror episode.
