Opening March 2006, Traders Hotel, Kunshan (昆山商貿飯店) is the Shangri-La group's 19th property in mainland China.
The 22-storey, 387-room Traders Hotel, Kunshan is located in the city's business district, within walking distance of municipal government offices, shopping centre, stadium, theatre and library. The hotel has easy access to surrounding cities, with a 30-minute drive to Suzhou and 50 minutes to Shanghai's city centre. It is 40 minutes to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and 90 minutes to Pudong International Airport.
Each guestroom offers river or cityscape views, in addition to such amenities and services as broadband internet access, data ports and IDD, satellite TV, ergonomically designed work desk, oversized bathroom with separate shower and bath, and 24-hour room service.
Dining and entertainment options include a coffee shop; a Chinese restaurant featuring Cantonese and local specialties, and bar with live musical entertainment in the evenings.
Meeting and banquet facilities feature a pillar-less grand ballroom accommodating up to 500 people for receptions and six additional function rooms. A business centre, spa, fitness centre and indoor swimming pool are also available.
