List of Frontier Brains
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Frontier Brains are a fictional strong group of trainers from the Battle Frontier, and they first appeared in the game Pokémon Emerald.
They are 7 in total, and each one resides a Frontier facility and have his or her own "title": Anabel resides in the Battle Tower and is the "Salon Maiden", Brandon resides in the Battle Pyramid and is the "Pyramid King", Spenser resides in the Battle Palace and is the "Palace Maven", Greta resides in the Battle Arena and is the "Arena Tycoon", Noland resides in the Battle Factory and is the "Factory Head", Tucker resides in the Battle Dome and is the "Dome Ace" and finally Lucy resides in the Battle Pike and is the "Pike Queen". Also, after beating any one of those facilities, the trainer will receive a "Symbol", whose can be a Silver Symbol and later a Gold Symbol in Pokémon Emerald.
In the anime, Ash Ketchum travels the land of Kanto after his journey in Hoenn, defeating the Frontier Brains. They, instead of being in the Battle Frontier island, are in distinct places in Kanto.
In the Pocket Monsters Special manga, a mysterious boy called Emerald, who has a connection with Latias and Latios, come the Battle Frontier island to defeat the Frontier Brains. The island and the Frontier Brains are a group commanded by Scott.

Anabel's name seems to have a vague root in the word "Ability", much like her symbol.

Occupation | Battle Frontier Pyramid King |
Brandon is a fictional character in the video game Pokémon Emerald. He should not be confused with Brendan, the male protagonist (or the rival of the female protagonist) of the same game, in the sense of him being a he. He is a member of the Battle Frontier in the Hoenn region. He resides in the Battle Pyramid and is known as the Pyramid King. He uses trios of Legendary Pokémon. All his Pokémon are the same level as the player's highest-level Pokémon. In the Japanese original, his name is ピラミッドã‚ング ジンダイ (Pyramid King Jindai).
Brandon hands out the Silver Bravery Symbol to Pokémon trainers who defeat him once, and the Gold Bravery Symbol to trainers who defeat him twice. Trainers can challenge him for the Silver and Gold Bravery Symbols by progressing through 21 and 70 floors of the Battle Pyramid, respectively.
Brandon's English name is a little like "Bravery", his symbol.

[edit] In the Anime
In the Pokémon anime, Brandon's silhouette is not shown on its own during the opening and is only seen in the centre of the group shot, unlike the other Frontier Brains. Trainers will only find out the location of the Battle Pyramid after they have collected the other six symbols. This may mean that Brandon ranks higher than the rest of the Frontier Brains, although in the video games and manga this position seems to belong to Anabel.
In the episode "Battle Tower! Telepathy Battle!", Anabel tells Ash that Battle Pyramid is located near Pewter City. Many fans thought that this was a plot hole, because that would make the Battle Pyramid the closest Battle Frontier facility with relation to Pallet Town. Therefore, Ash Ketchum should have visited the Battle Pyramid first. However, in "Battle Pyramid! VS Regirock!" this inconsistency was explained when it was revealed that the Battle Pyramid can be rendered airborne by means of turbines. Thus, it may not have been near Pewter City when Ash and his friends passed through the first time. When Ash battles Brandon, he is possessed by the king of Pokelantis, and is later freed. Ash loses to Brandon and is told to come back at a later time.
In the anime, Brandon has these Pokémon:

[edit] In the Manga

Scott tells him to be quiet, and Tucker grows a flaming grudge against Emerald. The press makes Emerald the Battle Frontier Mascot, which enrages Scott and the other Frontier members. Tucker bears witness to Emerald's victory over Noland, and immediately makes the boy come to his facility.

Lucy prefers to use serpent-like Pokémon. The top level of your Pokémon in your party will be the same as all of hers. She is very quiet and never says much, defeated or otherwise; but she does state that it took a great deal of work (trampling flowers and braving storms) to get to her level of posterity. But she will hand over the Luck Symbol if you defeat her, in which she will then hurry you out of her sight. In the Pokemon TV show, Lucy did not use her Seviper, Shuckle, or Milotic to battle against the show's hero. In the original Japanese Game, she was known as Tube Queen Azami. Also had slight feelings for Brock.

Lucy appeared in episode AG158 of the anime. She used her Seviper and Milotic in a battle reminiscent of Ash's battle with Juan.
In addition to her preference of snake Pokémon, Lucy also seems to have a soft spot for squinty eyes. Lucy also seems to fall in love with Brock (this was known because whenever Brock was close to her she would blush immensely, and she would stare at him with a look of pure affection, she also became a little sad when she learned he had to leave with Ash and the others, but she did however take the romantic words he spoke to her to heart, and surprisingly his romantic speech was his most affectionate one yet since his encounter with the ghost of maidens peak). She also owns these Pokémon:

Lucy battled alongside Palace Maven Spenser for the media during the grand opening of the Battle Frontier using a Seviper. Lucy was later defeated by Emerald.
