Open source games are computer games assembled out of, and are themselves, open-source software and open content.

- Adventure is the original text adventure game by Crowther and Woods.
- Advanced Strategic Command is a turn based strategy based on the Bluebyte Battle Isle series. http://www.asc-hq.org/
- Allegiance is a multiplayer, online-only RTS / SpaceCombat hybrid. It was originally developed by Microsoft Research, who later abandoned the project and released the source code. Allegiance is now maintained and updated by the community.

- Boson is an OpenGL real-time strategy game, with the feeling of Command and Conquer or StarCraft.
