Mississippi Tennessee Railroad

Mississippi Tennessee Railroad, LLC (AAR reporting mark MTR) is a Class III railroad that runs from Houston, Mississippi, to Middleton, Tennessee. Formerly known as Mississippi Tennessee Railnet, the railroad is owned by CGX, Inc., which also owns Crystal City Railroad, Lone Star Railroad, and Rio Valley Railroad. MTR interchanges with BNSF in New Albany, Mississippi; Kansas City Southern in Corinth, Mississippi; and Norfolk Southern in Middleton, Tennessee. The line is 87.7 miles (141.1 km) long, has three employees, and has three locomotives.
